Each image can contain one billion others.
This section shows very close views of some areas of my paintings. On this new scale, a painting is revealed in its rawest form and gives life to the surfaces by becoming matter. Finesses and imperfections become incarnate in all their strangeness. It becomes possible to observe the delicacy of an emerging bubble, or the dripping of intertwingling pigments.
These fractal representations of matter create confusion by mixing the infinitely small with the infinitely large. It is the very organisation of matter that is scrutined, molecular or cosmic, yet always subject to the movements of physics, as well as of the artist’s physique.
