These paintings offer a glimpse of the confrontation, often abrupt and violent, between different media. Here, the liquid fractures are no longer the object, but rather the subject of a reduced composition, revealing its nature and unpredictable, indeed often absurd route.

With colours dynamically projected, then clashing, a subduction forms: an initial layer of paint slips under another, not without causing some tears on the way. This clear delineation between different fluids failing to mix gives rise to a rare and strange form of aesthetics. Which is what this series is about.
